There are many good links to Midwifery sites. The following is a midwifery site in the United Kingdom. Just as childbirth has not changed in the past 50, 000 or so years. Midwives all the world have common techniques, problems and alliances.

Ina May Gaskin, a Midwife from Tenn., is internationally known for her work as a Midwife and in her journey to decrease the maternal death rate in the US. Ina May Gaskin, CPM from Tenn. has been delivering babies at the FARM for almost 4 decades. Her knowledge is extensive in the field of childbirth, maternal mortality and morbidity.
